I RECENTLY GOT WATER IN THE FUEL TANK ON MY L4310 KUBOTA AND IT CUT OFF, I DRAINED THE TANK COMPLETELY AND CLEANED THE FILTER, PUT FRESH FUEL IN AND THEN CRANKED THE TRACTOR (IT TOOK A WHILE TO CRANK)WHEN IT DID IT SETTLED DOWN AND RAN FINE AT IDLE, I LET IT RUN FOR ABOUT FIVE MINUTES AND IT CUT OFF, AND WILL NOT RESTART OR FIRE AT ALL, I AM SEEING FAINT WHITE SMOKE OUT THE EXHAUST, ANY IDEAS?

When water gets into a system it is not always easy to get it out of the system just like air. To think that five minutes of run time would clear it out would be normal but often it takes several times to get it out. I'd start over bleeding the injectors again as that is the last place you need fuel and the best place to get rid of the air that might be the bulk of your problems. Before you shut off your tractor be sure every fuel line has been retorqued so there are no leaks for air to seep back in. Water can hide in any corner and not be totally removed until many hours of use.. I'd definitely be adding some Power Service to the fuel to help the situation. ....

Ditto what Art said and I would suggest running the tractor at full power under load for a half hour or more to push any possible remains through the system. It can take more than just a few minutes run time as Art said. ....

Just a question. How did you drain your fuel tank? If you did not drain it from the bottom you might still have a small amount of water left as the fuel will float on top.
Just a thought ....
